The base for the Usonian I desk globe was adapted from one of several furniture designs created by Frank Lloyd Wright during his Usonian period, spanning from the late-1930s to the latter part of his career. A concept drawing for the ottoman was the source for this base design of the globe, which features a solid hardwood base and cooper-plated semi-meridian. Measures 13” x 18” x 13”.
